How The Bell Hotel has a 2 star rating is beyond me. I could have moved in permanently; a hotel has never had such an effect on me!The hotel is beautiful & full of character, with it’s beamed ceilings & numerous fireplaces. The staff were welcoming,friendly & helpful. My room was so cosy & relaxing, home from home. I loved the furniture & the massive cupboard that was the wardrobe, complete with iron, ironing board & extra pillow plus a small electric heater (which I made use of on my first night). My duvet was to die for, it was like sleeping enveloped in a cloud. The Bell had everything I could wish for & I loved the decor as well as all the little things, right down to the salt & pepper pots & the beautiful butterfly card holders on the restaurant tables. Even the bin in my room had ‘Choose Happy’ on it. The food was amazing and breakfast was superb, with self service, enabling you to help yourself to what you want. I was honestly sad to leave after my stay, I will miss The Bell Hotel. If I am ever in Buckinghamshire again, I will stay there without doubt! Nowhere else will do! Sonja Lake 7/12/19
