Our Head Chef is Paul Capener MCCG. MCGB master chef craft guild master chef Great Britain.
Paul has been cooking professionally for over 40 years and has enjoyed working in some of the most prestigious venues in the UK.
Paul has been a keen competitor throughout his career and has been lucky enough to be part of the Bell Hotel competition team for the last two years. The Bell Pie Shop picked up 8 awards in the British Pie Awards in 2016, and 11 in 2017 including 2 Golds each year.
The Bell Pie Shop currently holds two GOLD medals for Best Steak Pie in England from the AHDB, an organisation very close to our hearts as we champion local produce.
The Bell Pie Shop is open daily behind reception where all of our fresh pies are available to take away as well as being served in our restaurant.
