We had a lovely weekend break at the Bell Hotel. The room was warm and welcoming, and the evening meal from a slightly reduced menu was excellent. In the present challenging times the safety procedures in place were implemented carefully and efficiently by all the staff. We shall certainly be back in the future.

Thank you to all the staff who dealt with us after we only found out after our nights stay that we were actually in the wrong Bell hotel ! There was confusion when we arrived as they couldn’t locate our booking but still put us in a lovely room for the night .
Thank you to Caz and Phil who couldn’t have been more helpful .
Breakfast was lovely and felt very welcomed there .
If we are ever in your neck of the woods again we will most definitely be booking to stay with you again !

A joyful experience, like Christmas every day.

We stayed there this week as part of a long awaited (and overdue) holiday which also included our wedding anniversary. We have stayed previously and it was fine: this stay was even better. The room was excellent and really well furnished; the food is quite superb – locally sourced, well cooked and beautifully presented; the beers are fine.
However, it is the staff who really ‘make’ the place such a great experience. Stephanie is a bundle of happiness when you arrive; Philip so full of humour and help; Erin with her infectious smile and willingness to help; Julie – the epitome of welcoming warmth; and Steve – ever available for anything that needed sorting.
Nothing is ever too much bother and, in a way, we were sad our holiday had ended!
Many thanks to all and looking forward to seeing you again soon.
